I am feeling proud to write about this gr8 footballer in my wall .God might have created this guy just to make him play for liverpool . A true red, even the rivals players and opponent club fans can't stop describing him as a one of the greatest player to play this beautiful game 'Football' . Player with passion and loyalty to club .

Those goals he scored in dying minutes .Those celebration he celebrated , those tackles he made those assists he created will always resides in our memories .I am feeling a bit nervous as this legend is playing for His club for the last time today .After onward we won't be able to watch him playing in Red shirts .A bunch of respect to this guy ,and he deserves a lot more than this.

Football is not just a game , it can be life , it can be a teacher or it can be a

reason to live . I have learned love ,respect ,Loyalty and passion from this

legend . He is god for million Liverpool fans over the globe as they worship him

for what he has done for the club .He has ability to intensify the game and rotate

the clock of game .He inspired his teammates to play for the glory .

Steven Gerrard on leaving Liverpool: ‘I always knew this moment was going to be the toughest’ After 17 years, 708 games, 185 goals and 10 trophies, Steven Gerrard will make his 354th and final Anfield appearance on Saturday. Tickets are being sold for over £1,200 as fans clamour to bid farewell to the Liverpool captain, who is dreading the sound of the final whistle.

Alex Ferguson, manager of Manchester United FC (Source)"Liverpool's Steven Gerrard, Lionel Messi or Xavi from Barcelona deserved the award more. "Ronaldo is only focused on finishing in front of goal. "I love Gerrard's qualities as a player and a leader. Technically and tactically he is the best. His passion is enormous, he means as much for a great team as George Best. "He is a player who fans can identify themselves with and a man who carries the love for his club on his club badge. There is not another player in the world who combines all those qualities. I like him so much more than Ronaldo."

Gareth Southgate on Gerrard after a Premiership game between Middlesbrough and Liverpool in 2005 "Is he the best in the world? He might not get the attention of (Lionel) Messi and Ronaldo but yes, I think he just might be.If you don't have a player like Steven Gerrard, who is the engine room, it can affect the whole team. When we were winning league titles and European Cups at Real, I always said Claude Makelele was our most important player. There is no way myself, (Luis) Figo or Raul would have been able to do what we did without Claude and the same goes for Liverpool and Gerrard. He has great passing ability, can tackle and scores goals, but most importantly he gives the players around him confidence and belief. You can't learn that -- players like him are just born with that presence."

Zidane on Gerrard" I have said in the past that at his peak he was the best in the world.I think it was the summer of 2004 I was having a conversation withFlorentino (Perez) and I told him I wanted him to partner me in midfield for Madrid.I know the club tried twice but he wouldn’t leave Liverpool. Not many players turn down Real Madrid but I think that tells you a lot about the loyalty of the man."
Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers praised Steven Gerrard as having given more to his city than any politician has as his captain prepares for his Anfield farewell against Crystal Palace on Saturday.
Gerrard will lead Liverpool out of the famous Anfield tunnel for the last time in Saturday's tea-time kick-off and Rodgers praised the impact he has had over a 17-year career, picking 'Liverpool' as the best word to describe the 34-year-old.
Rodgers added that while this spell of his Liverpool career comes to a close, the door is open for Gerrard to return as a coach - or potentially on loan - after he moves to MLS side LA Galaxy this summer.

Balotelli wrote: 'Stevie... I had the honour to play with you, not for long but still an amazing and unforgettable experience for me. 'You are a great man and a cool captain! It is a pleasure to leave free-kicks and penalties to you.'I wish you all the best for your next venture and your family. You deserve the best. Good luck my friend, Mario Balotelli.'
